I'm not too sure if this is the right catagory? It will do for now though 
I live around the area of this 'boat graveyard' but have never actually been to see what it was like. When I finally did, I was shocked.
''For many years redundant commercial river craft have been beached along the banks of the Severn between Sharpness and Purton in order to protect against erosion. The boats involve range from wooden vessels to concrete barges and at the Sharpness end, some more modern steel vessels. In excess of 80 boats are known to have been beached here.''
